This seems like a good idea at the moment.
1) Only lie about the big things.
Nothing small is worth the cost of a fib. Imagine (I'm sure it won't be too hard) a tiny alteraton of the truth. This alteration is so small that it would have barelly been noticed. The affects of the truth would be minimal at worst and if left to run it's course would be easily forgotten and never make it into you memoirs. All a lie could do in this example is pospone the repercussions of an admission. Forgettable thinngs may not matter in the long run but they are what they are; forgettabe. Sooner or later you will slip up, you will forget your lie. No one is perfect.
So what do you think? Just a bunch of half awake rambling? I swear it made sence when I wrote it.
